I am on oxygen full time but recently broke my ankle. A few weeks ago i ordered Reel Free and love it. Because i broke my ankle Kaiser has sent many to help me at home. This is an excellent product, works flawlessly if used correctly, and greatly reduces the chances of becoming entangled in the tubing and falling. It also prevents kinks and knots in the tubing. I just bought my second one for another part of our home and plan on buying a third for our second home.

I puchase the tubing reel and received it a week ago. I love but it take some trial and error to get the break set right so that tubing pulls out easily but there is enough break to prevent backlash. I suggest some sort of light tention device between R and the red guide.

After 5 yrs of 24/7 home oxygen my 3 siblings gifted me a reel free. I use 50’ tubing to be able to get around my house and this unit has enhanced my freedom to navigate. It’s not perfect but I spend much less time untangling crimped tubing. Sad that Medicare won’t cover it. also the company was VERY helpful when I had issues learning to use it. Get one if you can.

Got one, works great, thought it expensive, but my wife bought it for me (actually for her so she doesn’t trip over the 50’ of air tubing that was all twisted and laying about). Just press a button on the remote and it reels up nice and neat without the twisted mess to untangle. Well worth it.

My ReelFree developed a motherboard fault. I was able to arrange a warranty replacement quicker than I have ever received a replacement before. That’s customer care in action. This company deserves our support by making their system known to as many people as possible. It is a life saving device. As an Internal Medicine physician I have seen the catastrophic consequences that occur when an elderly person fractures their femur. A ReelFree in combination with hip protectors can dramatically reduce the risk of fracture. That’s proactive love in action.

I was recently advised to use home Oxygen. One day I tripped on the hose and went down hard fracturing my ankle. After an emergency room visit and several doctors I found this product. It has been marvorlous. No more tangle and piled up hose. I not only am safer, I feel safer and more confident in mIoving around the house. This reel is not noisy at all. I keep my concentrator in a spare room because it is noisy. I just run the short hose under the door to the reel. I can get anywhere in the house or out on my porch. This has saved a lot of aggravation and potential trip hazards. I realize that it seems expensive, however how much does a trip and fall for myself or my wife potentialy cost. I was really tired of seeing a pile of tangled hose on the floor.
