How long do I have to return my product?

Buddy reels may be returned within 30 days of arrival, including non-defective units in new or slightly used condition. Accessories and the 3-year extended warranty are non-refundable; returns are not accepted.

🔄 Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns of Buddy reels, including non-defective units in new or slightly used condition, within 30 days of arrival. Accessories and the 3-year extended warranty are non-refundable; returns are not accepted for those items.

If your Buddy reel has a defect or was damaged during shipping, we will exchange it at zero cost. Just contact us at service@reelfree.co.

Return Window: 30 days from the date of arrival.

Condition: We accept returns for new or slightly used Buddy reels.

Return Instructions: Ship your return to the address above and use the recipient name shown above on your shipping label. Include a brief note in the box with the name used on the original order and your reason for returning the item. This helps us identify your order and process your refund promptly.

Shipping Carrier: You may use any shipping carrier you prefer.

To help keep return shipping costs down, reuse the original box when possible or choose similar packaging. Pack the unit securely, and use the actual packed dimensions and weight when purchasing your return shipping label.

For non-defective Buddy returns, the customer purchases the return shipping label. Reel Free covers shipping for defective Buddy exchanges and covered warranty claims.

💰 Refund Process

No restocking fees.

Refunds will be processed within 3 business days after receiving the returned item.

Refunds are issued back to the original payment method whenever possible. Depending on your bank or card provider, the refunded amount may take additional time to appear after Reel Free has processed it.

🛡️ 1-Year Warranty

All Buddy reels are covered under a one-year warranty. Accessories have no warranty and are non-refundable. Contact us for Buddy warranty support.

Warranty support is intended for manufacturing defects under normal household use. Damage from misuse, accidents, unauthorized repairs, or use outside the product instructions may not be covered.

3-Year Extended Warranty

Every Buddy reel includes a 1-year warranty. The optional 3-year extended warranty extends coverage to 3 years total from the original purchase date, not 4 years. Reel Free covers shipping for covered warranty claims. Accessories have no warranty. The extended warranty purchase is non-refundable; returns are not accepted.

Before You Ship a Return

Please email service@reelfree.co before sending a return so we can connect your package to the correct order. Include your name, order number, product being returned, and whether you are requesting a refund, exchange, or warranty review.

Pack the item securely with all parts included when possible. For Buddy™ or tubing-related returns, remove any personal medical tubing that should not be returned and include only the Reel Free product components that came with your order.
